How can a fragile dream of a lifetime, newly formed, not pan out? I belong among other weavers of words not fighting the current, detachment logic left A supposed balance of rational and artistic there's no way to know which turn's best Except when one gut decision's made first And failure's smeared mocklingly across the face Not a single pathetic human being reaches out to help her clean up this mess Their sneering arrogance and superior notions prevent them from caring beyond self After she seeks shivering solace In the introspective realm of doubt Questions whether she has worldly worth Concludes she's death or perpetual pain as her choice------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |
