If There Is Tenderness r. dafremen 6/'03If there is sweetness That behind the practiced edge of your indifference Lingers pennywish-like, wistfully behind Hint of this to me A simple subtle tenderness Whisper-kissed and left between the lines Matchless prize for one inclined To chance a meeting in your eyes Don't be suprised if you should find me In the saddest parts Where I almost feel you I can almost taste your fragrance Nestled on my lips A phantom sip drops as a kiss Almost there in wishful wanderings A glimpse into your heart is what I've never had A passing glance is all I'd ask of you For mine beats true Times its rythmn to foreverness Finds purpose in togetherness Anticipates, awaits Some sort of hopeful sign from you.
