Hey all, I wrote this a few years ago. It was my first (and to date, only) "astrological" poem. I was browsing this forum and remembered it, so I thought I'd share.the eyes of saturn ------------------ when the sun lies quietly down and sleeps beneath our sight when the sky turns the color of lead and day dissolves into night i see only the eyes of saturn among thousands of points of light she is no mere heavenly body to this lonely wandering star whose venusian essence exists for the joy only she can impart and who lives for the tender embrace of the seven rings of her heart o child of the heavens, most precious of stars in the sky i call home the light of your love means more than all else i have ever known burn brightly beside me tonight you need never again be alone IP: Logged |
