My neighbour wrote a song, she is a lovely woman, in her 50's I met 6 months ago when I moved in. She is not a writer, nor a poet. But she said to me something came to her and she needed a pen and paper quick. And she composed a song. She gave it to me, and I said I will post it and get some feedback for her. She is really interested to know what people say about what she has written. I think its quite lovely, and has more than one meaning. She hasnt yet titled it. "Im travelling down the highway Im cruising all the way Thinking of my destination Dreaming of what to say Many more miles to go Many more signs ahead Dreaming of the good times And the greetings to be said My journey's nearly over As the time moves slowly on The signs keep coming upon me Boldly showing me how long The road ahead is wide open The end is almost in sight The trop is nearly over I'll be there before night And now as I turn the corner I see before me a light I've made the trip safely Thank God I got here all right" IP: Logged |

Nice beat. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |
