02/11/04Why can you frustrate me so,
my newly known Cappy guy friend?
Why must you ignore me for weeks on end,
without even calling to say hello?
Did I scare your unwilling subconcious,
when I nearly burst into tears on the bus?
Did our very personal conversation cause you to choose,
more time with your girlfriend, and less with me?
Why does every person I decide to care about,
walk, run, or sprint in the opposite direction?
They conciously abandon me with n'er a thought,
The layered scars remain in my reflection.
Every time I gaze in the mirror,
I see someone who never mattered enough...
One who didn't do what she could to make them stay,
Yet was unaware of the reasons that they made to walk away.
