When you said those words
You know the ones.
I felt for a brief moment
As if I were.....A postcard picture, perfect clarity
Sun spotted serenedes
A tanned expanse of pristine flesh.
A gentle graceful dance
A childhood rootbeer float with just the right scoop of vanilla
A tickle spot
Bare feet on fresh cut grass
Powerful pounding warm summer rain, the kind you want to be drenched naked in.
An afternoon restaurant patio, legs touching under a checkered tablecloth.
An explosion of fireworks
The perfect sticky kiss. When you said those words
and not the ones you'd think...
However briefly,
