I am in total darkness
The air is cold
As I sit on the floor
I look outside the window
In my heart, there is hope

I'm a prisoner in solitary confinement
A victim of ethnic conflict
I've lost all the dearest things of my life
Horror, day-in, day-out

They took away everything from me
I've been wrongfully accused
I endure severe torture
I've ceased to believe in God

But so long as I have my breath
I will remain
Soon
The sun will rise again
