He looks young but he has an old soul From one place to another he always plays the same role How he feels no one can comprehend His journey seems to have no end He used to write beautiful stories But now he just travels across the countries Without purpose Maybe he's just searching For something he lost a long time ago Something unseen Though he has been There But he just doesn't feel that he belongs Here He never wants to go back home He is surrounded by many but he is alone Inside he is weeping but he speaks with a cheerful tone His spirit is rising but his flesh is falling He has a smell of smoke on his hair And his features are quite fair And a life without drinking he can't bear He has learnt all things But he has to re-learn them He has climbed the highest mountain And has swum the coldest water But he still can't find The right place to dwell He doesn't really care Whether it's Heaven or Hell In a way, he's aware That he can't get himself out of His inevitable despair His vulnerable heart has been shattered And can never be whole again And he tries to hide his pain But he does all this in vain He just wants to be far away From wherever he is He just wants to forget All the memories which are himselfIP: Logged |

Deep! I can really visualise this - like a past life memory or something - really clear, like it's me! quote: He has learned all things But he has to re-learn them..
Now that has a past life ring to it.I do love poetry - but what I've seen on LL seems to stir me more emotionally, especially recently. Actually - I think it's because I'm nearing the next turn of the wheel, when I want to experience everything on a deeper level now Eternal Blue - may I ask, what inspired you to write these musical histories?

A heartfelt thanks to you, Sheaa Olein- for the kind words and the beautiful interpretation. I adore poetry, though there is still so much more that I haven't read yet (and I want to read as much of it as possible). I just write. Sometimes I might write less frequently, it depends. I'm happy that I am able to express my thoughts and my feelings here at LL. At some point I will need a breakthrough, that's what I expect. I don't want to become repetitive. I want to keep my inspiration alive. I have no idea where it comes from, to be honest with you... IP: Logged |

As a matter of fact, this poem is about a real life character.IP: Logged |
