I made this thread keep a history of poems I write.
I don't think I am that skilled yet, but the main thing is that I enjoy it, and being abit unsure of myself, it's nice to get a comment here or there.
Anyhoo, Here's my first one:

=============================================
Coming Home
Twinkle twinkle little star,
I hear saturns symphony from afar,
A cosmic carousel,
A timeless treasure,
O, tell me saturn,
I can't wait forever.

Saturn's wave of karmic thunder,
the thunderbolt path takes me under,
The fairy tale ends,
A new path opens,
No more beginnings,
And no more ends.

Our holy trinity now complete,
Once our Unity comprehendeth defeat,
O, once fallen,
And, now we see
The only way home,
Is to just BE!

I might post some more tonight
I've been so busy and so stressed lately!
Thanks for reminding me of this Randall, I think I need to relax tonight and write some.

Directionology

How can we be blamed
for our pathetic ways, we are ashamed
when we could just open our eyes and see
there's an interactive world out there
for you and me

Listen to the sounds of the earth
the eternal harmony since birth
forever ours to capture
is it hard to find?

it is surely not in front
could it really be behind?

Left like a shadow aeons ago
imprinted in words numbers and nature
how easy it is to see
for those who open the hearts
and begin to fly free

How complicated we get
because we cannot just forget
the illusion we created
of superficial happiness
we will soon regret

slowly, slowly, one by one
we remember the peace felt by each
when we were one
O, the storm inside, as the grief resides
waitingly, patiently,I will be.

Wow neo . That was really beautiful. I especially liked these parts:

quote:
Listen to the sounds of the earth
the eternal harmony since birth
forever ours to capture
is it hard to find?

quote:
slowly, slowly, one by one
we remember the peace felt by each
when we were one

Well done.

Untilted- by anonymous

"O, stars swirling through me,
Night sky exploding,
I grope at Infinite reminders
of awesome unknowing.
Above, within, below,
I inhabit an ocean of universes--
Acquaintances I cannot fathom
So god in her aloneness can gasp, weep, tremble and laugh.
And god in unity must not leave me separate
swooning forever in this "I" "thou" reflection
So just for now,
I will be god's joy, smallness and agony,
Just for now she plays me
Until she dreams another dream."
