Grey skies
The kind that usually bring your favorite rain
Weep with crystal tears today
Giving what's 'real' a cold blanket of death
In whose fibers I can remember
The voice that is my conscience
Dreams that I cannot grasp
no matter what you said
what you thought
I hear it all the time
something so simple
Paled when winter came
a quiet passingSo it seems
so you think The rain will never be the same
Nor the air
... the snow Life is merely inhaling
Death
a giant exhale
I'm caught between them now
a winter pergatory You'll say
I had a choice
I made it
Easily as exhaling?
As sharp as breathing in winter air I am not sorry
this is not a complaint Why does everyone always think it's a swan song when the stage is dark?
A spotlight would spoil
my view of the clouds
the withered tree tops
the falling away of illusions I'm ready to inhale again
