Humanity reduces me to tears
They slide down these crimson cheeks
Brought to fruition by your love

Love?
Yet I stumble in the dark to understand it
In the lightless infinity that I can see now
There is not one
All are clear

Eyes and teeth
Chins and indifference..
..but I don't mind

All blows over me like a willowy summer breeze
Beautiful and welcome

I could fall underground from this comfort

Was it foolish pride that made me blind to your importance?
Did I bring civility to you, or did you shed the light that burned more than my soul?
My skin is alight...
as it was destined to be

This mortal coil
or so they call it
Only inspires me more

To be one with you
