I followed for a while a man talking out loud to nobody in particular And I told Nobody in Particular "Why don't you come around anymore?" Throw pebbles at my window, surely I would come down and speak with you a while But he said he was tired of our love he said I'd called out to him too often He said he'd grown tired of my love I tore away from his soft words and walked my stalker home I tore away from his cruel words and spit out my own, bitter ones "Why don't you come around and throw stones at my gates? Surely, I would not open them" But he only said he'd grown tired of my language.
