Wake up.
Its six in the morning.
Gotta get up and face my day.
First call of the day,
my sister,
come save me.
He's done it again,
and I can't do this anymore.
So many times I look up trying to see just
how far away heaven is.
Seems like my world has turned over for
another go.
A boy,
with tears on his face and his head in
his hands, cries out for help
only I can seem to give.
Why do I stretch myself so far?
Made the same mistake twice now I am payin'
with my dreams.

Makin' the rounds
trying to be who I am,
without crying to the sky and
falling on my face.
One last time before my sun goes down
I hear a voice call out my name
and I wonder just who it could be.
I met my ghost with tears in her eyes and
pain in her voice.
What have I done?
I never meant to break.
Why couldn't I just do it all?
So many times I look up trying to see
just how far away heaven is.
Seems my world has turned over for another
go.
How time flys when you
are saving your soul,
and holding it all in.
Heaven is too far away for me.
