Love is said to be sweet and rosy
Little girls dream of its fairy tales
In its name they dance around
In tierras and sparkly gowns
Chasing the Flutterbies
Through daisy fields
Sprinkles of its miracles
Filled my merry little soul

All I could see was Love
Darkness was swallowed up
In a vast sea of light
And angels kissed me on the cheeks
Almost every single night

Golden mirrors followed me
As smiles and laughter
Reflected the world’s chivalry
Mommy you were there
You knew that beautiful time
What was it like to kiss it all goodbye?

I don’t remember
It all happened so fast
Which particular day was it
Did I laugh my last pure laugh?

Now she twinkles through my mind
Like a faint reminder
Of life’s precious design
In the innocence of youth
The angel’s save you from your falls
They hear your every prayer
And they believe what you saw

I cry now because she’s almost gone
Have I seen too much by now?
Is knowing darkness
Where it all went wrong?
No I am wiser now
My experiences make me strong
But when I’m in love’s clutches
I remember her sweet song
Suddenly I want nothing but
To feel
Not the strength that Life
Has bestowed upon me
But the only thing that is Real
A love that releases that little Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a very Leonine poem to me. If I had to guess the writer's sign without knowing, I'd say Leo. Fairy tales, tierras and crowns, sprinkles, love, golden mirrors, smiles. All very "Leo things".

I'm glad you have found another way to express yourself. We all need a creative outlet or two. Keep em comin'!!!

Yes, there are few things more cathartic than artistic expression. It IS a lot like a breath of fresh air... I would liken it a particularly gratifying bowel movement, lol.

Your recipe for love is a good one It explains why my love life is little bumpy right now...I only only used 3/4 part faith. I'm going to mix in the other 1/4 now, hope its not too late

Thats what faith is for, to balance caution.
When you combine an equal amount of both, you get something which transcends the common definitions of either caution or faith. An openness; a kind of secure vulnerability; a symultaneous contraction and expansion of loving attention; an awakened state.

At least, I think that's how it works.

Realizing that equilibrium in yourself, or finding the person who complements you in such a way as to inspire a realization of that equilibrium, well, that's another story.
