Again loved it! I like your style I especially liked this part: (I don't know how to put it in quotes like you guys do) Qoute~ There's more to you and more to me; We're more than we could ever be. God must be more than just a "He"; There's too much possibility. - There’s more to life than living, just, And wind is more than but a gust; There’s more to loving than to lust (Far more about the breast than bust); The last two lines were my favorite..wise man IP: Logged |

I see the shadow of a dragonfly Gone in the twinkling of an eye And far across the storming seas Flow free the ashes of our sanitiesAnd yet I see the silver lines of the ages glisten in your raven hair Fresh caught the endless instances Of morning dew upon your lips And then the tread of ageless time dusts off the lines across my face Crashing unbound into my heart Melt frozen walls with a crimson heat Till the blushing strain of a faint kissable dawn Brings bounteous life to the woods asleep The fragile hands of a forgotten promise Knock gently with the morning's treat And as the heavens melt and slowly merge The stars, the moons and the suns to be I hear the echoes of forever Caught in the tread of a stranger's feet IP: Logged |

Thanks Leo, First time ever posting in Yellow Wax - I guess it was inevitable, just never found enough energy or motivation to put the misguided disjoint thoughts into words and actually expose them to innocent unsuspecting minds ... This one I actually wrote right here, after reading HSC. For me its sponataneous, just thoughts jumble up in my head and are spit out in rhyme. Never original, I always draw them from various sources, like Alanis' songs and stuff like that. Its actually amazing, when the chaoes is over, the words actually end up surprising me more than anyone. I never know what I am feeling until I am actually knocked on the head by it! I guess the connection between my conscious and emotions is kinda severed. Thanks for bearing with the rant - it was truly cleansing. IP: Logged |

You are so talented maya! And every artist draws freely from other artists. Originality, true originality comes later. First, learn to express your thoughts and emotions clearly and honestly. When you can do that, you can begin to access the subtler shades of meaning. Knowing what you REALLY mean to say is knowing yourself, and that's always original. So, take your time. Even though eternal truths are intuitively and spontaneously grasped, they usually need to be recreated in the conscious mind, in order to be fully understood. When you can blend these two elements, only then will precision of expression become as spontaneous as revelation. Then, when original inspiration does strike, it will have a clear path to manifestation. That's when magic happens, and the incarnation of that magical act is the true work of art, called hermetic, because it is the synthesis of all that precedes it. YHVH Yod - Mysticism He - Gnosis Vau - Magic He - Hermeticism 1. Revelation, The Mysical Experience;
2. Contemplation, Gnostic Concentration, or Understanding; 3. Consecration, Ritual Observation, or True Action, The Magical Act; 4. Manifestation, the Unified Realization of Energies and Aims, Manifested Truth IP: Logged | |
