I missed this before.

I Loooooved that future. Very well done.

quote:
Your eyes saw the sun, the rain, the rising mist
yet somehow you managed to dismiss
the significance of all that was,
and to this very day your eyes have not forgotten
and when I look, they remind me.

Thank you!

I've had writer's block forever, but I sat down at my computer one night and this is what spilled out. I'm glad you liked it!

Future I just got chills reading that! Talk about capturing the unrequited passion of a fire sign with a virgo. That was beautiful And I felt it was really from your heart.

these are my favorite lines:

Qoute:
-------------------------------------------
I handed you a stone you held awhile
before you called it gray
and tossed it merrily away,
whose gentle smooth and graceful hue
were memories alive in my fingertips
well before it left yours.
--------------------------------------------

That just totally spoke to me...you described feelings I've had in my heart for a while that I couldn't even express so clearly. Why can't they see all the magic we see? Wouldn't it be nice if we could share it with them and invite them into our parallel universes? Instead sometimes their Reality ridicules our Wonder and makes it think twice.

You reminded me that we are blessed to be able to view the world the way we do, for the world sparkles and performs miracles for us constantly. While it simply mirrors their need for order and timeliness. Maybe we're supposed to be the angels that show them glimses of heaven to remind them to lift their heads up once in a while. I know that deep down my Virgo really does admire my faith and sometimes he can almost touch it with my guidance. Maybe thats part of the allure of the fire sign/ Virgo (earth) relationship...even when these signs are blended in one person. One foot in heaven, one on earth.

Sorry I kind of went off a little, but your poem inspired those thoughts so I thought I'd share them with you. I'm glad you told me about your poem, now you can add me to your fan list

LeoSweetHeart,

I really loved this

quote:
Instead sometimes their Reality ridicules our Wonder and makes it think twice.
That was beautiful. I think you're right that we are lucky to be able to see the world as we see it, and get from it what we do. Even if it's lonely sometimes, I would never want that to change.

I wrote to you in soul unions and you pinpointed what I was describing there when you said

quote:
I know that deep down my Virgo really does admire my faith and sometimes he can almost touch it with my guidance.
That's the intimacy thing I was talking about, then *poof* it's gone. But you've really helped me put into words some of the feelings I've been describing. Thank you!

Sun Child, I'm glad you liked this. It makes me happy when people can reach one another through poetry or fiction. I'm sorry, I can't remember, but are you in love with one of these Virgo boys, too?

I'm so glad we get to talk about this because I think it is a big issue in a relationship between girls like us and guys like that. It can be really hard sometimes, and sometimes you just want to give up... but then-- well, you know... LeoSweetHeart said it best: glimpses of heaven!
