I really liked this one Heart.

quote:
Lost Love, by absence ever known,
Sings choruses of coming home,
And plants a crown upon my crest;
A seed within my sunken breast.

I knew you were going to say that.

I'm starting to think my short and sweet responses amuse you.

Sometimes its the shortest responses that suggest the deepest understanding. And, if you're anything like me, the more you understand, the harder it is to say anything at all.

Very much so! On both counts.

LH, Sometimes your Uranian trips awaken the most peculiar emotions. Dont you know by now, there are no goodbyes when bonds run that deep ... and those fortuitous trysts are perhaps pre-planned, with all the constellations standing by, applauding every mortal move?

No, love, its not that easy to pretend nothing happened, when there is a raging tornado, a fiery volcano right next door

So, shall we part as favored friends?
Our debts are guiltier than diets!
I know someday we'll meet again,
When promises are quiet.

That part;

me too, pix.

I wrote that poem like four years ago,
but I only recently understood it.

I wrote it about my romantic suicide;
the one that never happened;
the one that never will.

I dont want to run from my life,
any more than I want to run FOR it, -
But I'm willing to meet it half-way.

I'd almost lost hope in being loved,
to say nothing of ever being understood.

Nothing mystical or poetic right now, from me...
but something I have observed, and which, no doubt you know as it relates to your own life.
It is really hard to be understood.
Even when you figure out certain motivations, they change and adapt as soon as someone else catches on.... almost like, in the very act of empathy, the understanding twists beyond reach again. Just keep searching, keep appreciating those small triumphs in situational understanding....
"Yes, you've got it!!!" But wait.. the meaning is deeper still.... once it is said, it defines new avenues.
I acknowledge the sacred now, and know it it elusive tomorrow.

Pixie, you're a poet and you dont even know it.

"in the very act of empathy, the understanding twists beyond reach again."

Sister, you said a mouthful.

Weezer 'Photograph'

If you want it, you can have it
But you've got to learn to reach out there and grab it

'Cause everybody wants some love
Shooting from the stars above
And though my heart will break
There's more that I could take
I could never get enough

If you need it, you should show it
'Cause you might play so monastic that you blow it

'Cause everybody wants some, ooh
Something they can barely know
And though my heart will break
There's more that I could take
I could never let it go

It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph of love

'Cause everybody wants a dream
Something they can barely see
And though my heart will break
There's more that I could take
I could never let it be

It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph
It's in the photograph of love

If you blew it, don't reject it
Just sit drawing up the plans and re-erect it
Just sit drawing up the plans and re-erect it
Just sit drawing up the plans and re-erect it
