The words,
still damp on my lips
I'm still damp with you.
the shuddering shattered
by the light through the blinds
as I fling my arm away from my eyes
I feel blinded by the force
as I focus on you
your astounding presence
meets mine
and we glow as we show
another way for us to know
these sparkling sharklike teeth caught
in dim truths, rimming our youth
meanings lost in the shadows that stray
as we did today
under pretense and power plays
the only thing that makes me feel
the words the only uttered steel
that seals the cracks, that firms our seams
and makes these mornings feel like dreams
winding the natural corridors,
shutting windows, slamming doors
running from a demon chasing
moonlight and this cocoon casing
Maybe you're the Monarch
and I am the Empress bound
spooled underneath and all around
weaving silky threads right through things
this passion passes,
I remain your wings
My eyes are still so slightly closed
this mess and these unsightly clothes
how on earth is it to go?
"Not on earth"...
Oh yeah.... I know.

I agree Pixie!! You should totally publish those amazing poems of yours. your way with words is like...well if I had a better way with words I could describe it Theres a special uniqueness and energy about your poems too that I think would make them quite successful..a certain Pixie Pizzaz!
