Even VTT, who claims to not like poetry, but still brings her own special *thang* to the forum! I just want to take a little time-out and say that I very TRULY enjoy reading the works of other Lindalanders. I love the range of topics, the different styles of each of you has, and mostly the openness with which all of you share your personal creations. This is a very special forum! I probably speak for many of us when I say that I appreciate being able to share my own creations and receiving feedback... especially when something I've written resonates with someone else. There are so many things in my life that could only be understood by other "knowflakes", and I think you know what I mean.

I read a lot of poetry and I'm a huge fan. But there's something unique about reading something really inspiring or beautiful or soul-wrenching when it's written by real people who haven't had the benefit of "professional" assistance. I'm always amazed by you guys!

ENOUGH WITH THE SAPPY RAMBLING! And on with the show!

Thanks future! Haha it is so funny how I protest...but ever since I wrote those 2 on here, and entertained the idea of performing at open mics, I have been testing the waters a bit more. It is so different from songwriting, and I also have very little experience with poetry to begin with, so it's difficult.

So maybe more of my stuff will pop up here and there!! I'm so glad this forum is here, it definitely encourages me to write. It's so unique, I never see this type of forum on other boards that I visit!
