The further into this structed society I climb, The less certainty in steps I find, Increased self-conciousness and decreased perception, I start to doubt my impression and overall reception, Do break from the norm of professional mood, Spirited in the wrong way and childish in attitude, Or do I come across too contained, with little or no drive, Cool and quite distant in all that I strive? The Brothers I thought I reached on first 'chat', Now feel far away as if I did something to upset that, It concerns me with sadness as these distances increase, I feel somehow responsible like I caused the scattering of this peace.IP: Logged |

Brilliantly written, but come on.. be nicer to you. I happen to think you rock. I am confident in my being a pretty good judge of character. So at the risk of insulting me, I want you to list for me three negative qualities you perceive in yourself, and turn them into how others could possibly perceive them in a positive way. Please? Turn off the inner critic. ( I know it's free flow writing, and negatives come up... I am not judging, but I hear too much internal judgement going on, Maybe it will be a good exercise?)IP: Logged |

Ok pix, that sounds like an interesting way to view this, so here goes... 1) overly emotional (I sulk when things don't go my way)...this could be seen as I care intensely about doing my best. 2) nervous chatterer (when uncomfortable in a situation, I tend to start talking constantly)...this could be seen as gregarious, confident, and outgoing 3) obsessive about formality (when I'm given rules, I can't seem to break them, even if the situation calls for more casual attitudes)...this could be seen as responsible courtesyThanks, I feel a lot better, dear pix that's was a good way to think about it...((hugs)) to you ------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |
