If richness in experience were all consuming
If anything was enough
I would stop having the need to stuff
my soul full of something less than it was designed for
but I can't really judge the feeling of being full
against the standards set by another
For if I felt truly full
why would I need to eat?
I am voracious in appetite
and I zing from peoples lives with perhaps too much zest
a touch of zest adds something to the pallette
but too much overpowers the delicate balance
in the union of flavours
I want to make meals with
too many gourmet ingredients
too many courses for the menu
and so I change the venue
creamy crimes of whispering lips
a whisked devils food adding movement to my hips
and the pleasure of devouring tastes
varied textures, licking plates...
oh the richness of these edibles
I wonder when they'll make me full?
