This twisted moon That wreathes with thorns and vices It longs to clamp and plant down And shoot into the skyeIts still but tugs away slowly Ripping limb from mind and Seeking for an anchor Just a simple vessel to hold and seal To contain its expansive fear But it cannot find its tunneled path It spreads thorny roots here and there Turns all to stone but cannot grasp What it means to root and love O this twisted blood filled moon All that it touches slips away Drips away with slippery pain All is an earthquake and nothing is real The shadowy moon leaves the earthly plane

Kindred soul ... love the passion, BRYou have to reach down to the deepest, darkest corners of your soul to bring out such pain and intensity. Thanks for being so brave and thanks for sharing it with us. IP: Logged |
