I was just thinking about how amazingly talented everyone here is and how these offerings of poetry are so incredibly special and unique.
How about some ideas on what inspires you to write the way you write?
What is the 'creative' process for you when you write a poem?
I think it would be wonderful if people could express ways in which they give birth to their poetry.
What do you think?

I will have a tide of feeling, and it will come out.
which is why often my 'poems' are more train of thought than stylized like an actual poem.
The creative process ( of all kinds) hits me in different moments. Suddenly, I will have words in my head.. and it practically composes itself.
Seriously.. I don't edit.. what you see is pure which is probably why people say I write passionately. I just do it.
I go.. "I am inspired" then I will write.

I am interested to see others thoughts and processes.... thanks for introducing this!

I wrote this to Firelights earlier in the week, it sort of gives an idea as to how I would compose a poem.
.....................................
"...I don’t even know if I can call it mine since I struggled to put this one together. I meant for it to be longer but a poem can sometimes be like a child, you want it to do something but it has other things in mind.
I wrote this a few weeks ago while on a train here in London. I was struggling because I wanted to incorporate a sort of rhythm or structure much like you do but I suppose a poem can easily become a bar of soap, if you try to hold onto it too tightly it slips away..."
