I think it’s time to show you
Time to let you know
Consider this a preview just before the show
This is what I look like - no make up on
This is me just as lost, not knowing what’s going on
Won’t you come closer, take a better look
If this is what you want, then get ready for the truth.
It’s not going to be pretty-honesty never is
This is what I look like when you’re not here to please.
I’m strong, confident, and comfortable with what is.
Bet you did not expect that
I’m focused, goal-less and at ease
Bet you don’t really like that
This is what I look like - not down on my knees
I often wondered how much of my life is really mine
We live for our parents, lover’s, culture and time
I’ve listened to your preaching about the way things should be
You thought me that I’m an individual but am I really?
I am all that you have been through…
I am you being me
So don’t push me any further about being unique
This mind has many words, but it’s the heart that needs to speak
And for you to listen, you have to give up all you know
Indeed you have to give up you and then something may come through.
It’s not something you can keep, something you can hold on to
It’s not something you can reach, there’s nothing you can do.

*waaaaaahhhhaaaaaaaa* why do i feel so proud of dynamic right now??? i dunno but i am  i like it..i like it alot...lol
oh boy..i am in whole hearted agreement w/ dynamic. It takes alot for someone to finally be themselves w/ other people. And usually those people find that person scary. At which point we should all stand up with open arms and hugs that person close. There is nothing more beautiful to me than a person who fits in their own skin.xx
