I am not in the same place you are
on this island of bliss
though I vacation there
it doesn't feel as home to me
as it used to be
I bought a time share
but don't use it much
guiltily
Doesn't seem right that it
should take so much thought
or work
Should just be known...
(I don't even know what a 'should' looks like)
There are no quick fixes on the island I share
No mending solder or sutures there
or balm to ease the ache I feel
when the difference feels much too real
to venture out and share your cloud
shut out the noises who love a crowd
when I know that I could leave this fate
sell the time share by the going rate
But the going feels too much like hate
and I love too much
so I shall wait

Greece It's a shame that I had to go so soon... The weather was getting better and better, it's a really beautiful place... Been to Athens as well and it's a very pretty and sexy city but dangerous also...But then.. uni and work were waiting.. so yeah.. some other time...
