The seeds so lovingly planted and gently tended started to grow,
And each day I would sit with them and tell them how i loved them so,
But I woke one morning and started to cry,
As snow told of winters start,
My roses had begun to die,
And took with them my heart,
Why is it with the things i love most,
That I always have to part.
