In the dark, I face my fears.
I do nothing, I shed no tears.
Break down the wall.
Take it all.
The warm air comforts me.
And the stars are still for me to see.
I miss you more as it gets darker.
Made this place, made it my marker.
Twilight into my night.
I banish it all, including the light.
There is nothing to hide.
No one with which to side.
Into my night, I give me away.
I've nothing left to make me stay.
I see my dreams,
I know what they mean.
To know what is to be.
It takes alot out of me.
And in the dark, I throw it out.
Saving myself from having to shout.
The dawn is soon enough to worry.
In the day, then I'll be sorry.
But for now, here into my night,
I'm content to give up the fight.
Breathe in the air,
send myself here and there.
Tomorrow is soon enough to wake,
I'll worry then if I make a mistake.
Into my night, its easy to see
that I'm ok without you with me.
I love your eyes,& in time
I'll take back whats rightfully mine.
In the dusk, I'll stand back.
The pile will wait to be stacked.
Tonight is for me to think of you.
To forget all the bad and think of the true.
I'm content to be alone together.
Me here, and you some where other.
Into my night, I send you my soul.
And in time you'll return it all.
But for now, tomorrow will be here too soon.
And I'll have to forget the moon.
And how your eyes shined so bright.
I'll put away the maybes and mights.
Tomorrow is the only bad in my night.
I'll give it all up for the sight.
A moon so clear,
a body held so near.
Into my night and you'll see what is.
You are mine, I know this.
But for now, into my night I'll sleep.
My dreams of you, I will always keep.
Maybe in time I'll have you to stay.
And I'll not have to give it away.
For now, I'm content to stay in the dark.
And here is where I'll find my mark.
