Well,, I know I can easily be accused of having a "dirty mind"... Too me A Harmony of Balance through all the elements Synchronized Universal Laws Music of the Spheres is best demonstrated and enacted through sexual acts. In all sereosness, the way this was described is exactly the intention and most desired effect in sexual invocations of "the Mother and Father", God/Godes, what ever your culture and view calls them. yes, it does appear that way, doesn't it...the main inspiration however, was a recent trip to the ocean...basking in sand and sea, saltwater and sky, and brilliant sun... very physical sensations.... then, drinking in the soft waves, as they lapped the shore, as the sun went down.... and walking on the darkened beach in stillness, enswathed in the brilliance of stars and the magic of a brilliant, bright orange full moon....i felt the presence of goddess very close.... all this informed, more recently, by a meditation on the nature of goddess, and her connection to god.... and yes, i suppose it sounds like a meditation on the intimate physical as well... haha....i just didn't see it that way at first.... i do appreciate all this input and commentary....very nice! In my younger years, when I was experimenting with hallucinagens, I spent a winter night walking in a crystallized icy forest with my friends. I was so 'at one' with my surroundings and in love with sensation that I took off my boots and walked on the ice and snow barefoot. I was, TRULY making love to the Earth with my feet and every part of me. It was wonderful. Maybe I do see sex in everything... it was a pretty sexy poem with the words you used, dollface. *read it again with that perspective.* Interesting to see your words through others perceptions though, isn't it?IP: Logged |

hey pixie...i read it with that perspective already...and yes i do see that...i saw it after mr. music's comment....it's exquisite to see through the eyes of others.hehe....my senses were so heightened at the ocean this recent weekend.... all of nature was like itself a natural hallucinogen....truly transcendental..... my meditations and opening heart to goddess have provided me this beauty....without need of any hallucinogen or stimulant whatsoever...(well, i do drink coffee and tea at times...) i'm so grateful for the beauty of this heightened state of perception.... it's beyond anything unnaturally induced that i've ever experienced! and i wouldn't trade it for that either... nature is sublime. blessed goddess...blessed be....
