Find your name and your poem: http://www.poemsforfree.com/namepo.html

You might find more than 1 poem for your name, I chose the one that resonated the most.
I'd love to see what others get. They're really lovely poems too.

Hope you enjoy them.

Here's mine, and I really like it.

Stephanie

Stephanie is loved more than she knows.
There is in her a wildness hard to tame.
Even as her lover calls her name,
Passion dictates when she comes and goes.
However, there's a sweetness in her heart,
A tenderness that's loathe to sponsor pain.
No lover will be long left in the rain;
Indeed, when lost, she can't be long apart.
Each turn is made for love and not for gain.

Omigawwwsh, I just fainted on the floor.
I did my partners and it's true.

Darren

Darren gives his heart away for free.
A sun could not shine more upon the land.
Rewarded by his own fierce inner fire,
Relentlessly he follows his desire,
Expanding his supply to meet demand.
Nor does he care what others think or see.

The poems are strangely accurate, let me know if you feel that too.

Interesting. I found two ~

Angela retains her cherub face,
Nor does she long, as yet, to leave her garden.
Given that in time one's tissues harden,
Even she someday will turn her age,
Leaning on love with neither shame nor rage,
And treasuring within her childhood grace.

Angela is pregnant with an angel, (not quite ready for that yet)
No stranger to divinity herself.
Given that she's turning twenty-one,
Each change of life is still perceived as fun,
Laughing with the mischief of an elf
As I worship her from my unholy angle.

Both of them resonate with me a little bit ~ not sure if I want to discuss it more yet, though).

Hey neato!

There's two for my name. I'll post the brown-eyed one.

Tara has brown eyes and chestnut hair;
A face that is a fantasy of home
Reason tells us little of what is there
As we vie to call her place our own.

Gee...that's kinda spooky!

Linda loves long summer afternoons.
Inside voices hush, the wind subsides.
Night waits as golden sorrow bathes her heart,
Deep cleansing beneath angry lips of wounds,
Absorbing pain where hunger still abides

I'm working on mine now... this may take some time! I appreciate the challenge of structure, but it can be frustrating as well.

I'd love to hear some others. And even if your name was on there you can make a new one!

I think mine needs some 'Spirit' put back into it!...? Although, it seems to have had it's fitting moments ....

Julie died sometime in her mid-morning,
Unable to take in her afternoon.
Life's an equal gift from dawn to evening,
Infinite in happiness and grieving,
Even when the night falls far too soon.

Careless at times, and yet
Always tries to get it right.
Relives the past, to my own detriment—
I still regret the wasted years,
Still ashamed of hollow fears
Sold out by flagrant tears.
Again and again the fool.

Thank you, SunChild. This is just one angle, but it was fun to write. Hope some others will give it a try!
