As the air changes
and the world shifts again,
we see the heavens shine down
and we know their faces
are watching us now.
Have faith, it's never good-bye
Do your best and you'll see
they are not gone,
they just rest in peace.
No more suffering, no more sorrow
they feel only love.
Their eyes are the stars,
their skin is the sky.
Their hearts are the sun,
and they will never lie.
Do not cry, it's never good-bye
hold them in your heart
and there they will never die.
Hold their smiles close,
never forget their face,
they are not gone forever,
they are just in a different place.
So much better are they,
we should count our blessings
to have had them while we did.
Never forget, it's never good-bye.
