There’s no need for this tension For this self-contraction This resistance and defence There’s no need for this tripping This self-deluding unnecessary concern There’s no need for these problems This separate point of view There’s no need for this healing Illusions are not true… Untie the knot of ego ‘i’ And love will look right through your eyes Now! What do you see?A wave returns- ocean Puzzle pieces never broken you as You are Before the beginning you as You are After the end Not held nor hindered By things past said Not hurt nor encumbered By future’s dread Free….Free… free??? NO (Not) free!!!!! How can you be free? When you were never NOT free???? This is the problem A false assumption Based on things you cannot touch But think about way too much Give it up…let it go! There’s no such thing as a healing heart The heart (IS) healing! Never stained by anything less than love Never scarred by any betrayal of trust Free Free Free!!! Forget everything you’ve been told Including what’s written in this poem So accept this invitation Open doors await your arrival Welcoming you... To your own h(om)e.

Beautiful thoughts, Dynamic -- and beautifully expressed. I wish my consciousness were closer to those ideas more often. IP: Logged |

Brilliant, Akash! You give me so much to (not?) think about. I especially like: "Not held nor hindered By things past said Not hurt nor encumbered By future’s dread" AND "There’s no such thing as a healing heart The heart (IS) healing!" Thank you for enlightening my morning. You inspire religious feeling in me. Have you heard of Matisyahu? http://www.matismusic.com/ Here are the lyrics to his hit song, King Without A Crown - What's this feeling? My love will rip a hole in the ceiling Givin' myself to you from the essence of my being Sing to my G-d all these songs of love and healing Want Moshiach now so it's time we start revealing
You're all that I have and you're all that I need Each and every day I pray to get to know you please I want to be close to you, yes I'm so hungry You're like water for my soul when it gets thirsty Without you there's no me You're the air that I breathe Sometimes the world is dark and I just can't see With these, demons surround all around to bring me down to negativity But I believe, yes I believe, I said I believe I'll stand on my own two feet Won't be brought down on one knee Fight with all of my might and get these demons to flee Hashem's rays fire blaze burn bright and I believe Out of darkness comes light, twilight unto the heights Crown Heights burnin' up all through till midnight Said, thank you to my G-d, now I finally got it right And I'll fight with all of my heart, and all a' my soul, and all a' my might What's this feeling? My love will rip a hole in the ceiling Givin' myself to you from the essence of my being Sing to my G-d all these songs of love and healing Want Moshiach now so it's time we start revealing Me no want no sinsemilla. That would only bring me down Burn away my brain no way my brain is to compound Torah food for my brain let it rain till I drown Thunder! Let the blessings come down Strip away the layers and reveal your soul Got to give yourself up and then you become whole You're a slave to yourself and you don't even know You want to live the fast life but your brain moves slow If you're trying to stay high then you're bound to stay low You want G-d but you can't deflate your ego If you're already there then there's nowhere to go If you're cup's already full then its bound to overflow If you're drowning in the water's and you can't stay afloat Ask Hashem for mercy and he'll throw you a rope You're looking for help from G-d you say he couldn't be found Looking up to the sky and searchin' beneath the ground Like a King without his Crown Yes, you keep fallin' down You really want to live but can't get rid of your frown Tried to reach unto the heights and wound bound down on the ground Given up your pride and the you heard a sound Out of night comes day and out of day comes light Nullified to the One like sunlight in a ray, Makin' room for his love and a fire gone blaze What's this feeling? My love will rip a hole in the ceiling Givin' myself to you from the essence of my being Sing to my G-d all these songs of love and healing Want Moshiach now so it's time we start revealing Reelin' him in Where ya been Where ya been Where ya been for so long It's hard to stay strong been livin' in galus (exile) for 2000 years strong Where ya been for so long Been livin in this exhile for too long Love to you, Steve

Paras, (From the heart of it all...I love that) Please accept my thanks with the silence that makes all words possible. Who you are is already free, it is the accumulation of ideas that make us think otherwise which led to the writing of this poem. We all have so many ideas, just like we cannot satisfy our hunger by looking at the menu, I sometimes feel we have to put down the menu of ideas that we've inherited and just remember that we're breathing...that our heart is beating...and that perhaps, just perhaps God (if there is one) made all things by becoming them. Much love to you my friend and I love the stuff you post also. D.S IP: Logged |

My Heart SteveThank you for your appreciation, you inspire everything good in me! I loved those lyrics, wow..now that is what you call lyrics!!! I'm also checking out the website, you have all the good stuff! You've thought me so much already, if it was not for you I would not be blessed with the knowing of Najinsky, and Simone Weil and...you know I could go on! Hey, I've been listening to some music by a lady called Deva Premal-really healing heart music! www.mitendevapremal.com Also have you heard of Aurobindo, for some reason I felt moved to tell you to perhaps read some of his stuff. I love you...and of course when theres no 'I' or 'you'...there IS... Love, Akash. Oh and what's wrong with now unless you think about it?

My Good Akash,You are so welcome! I dont know anyone who appreciates appreciation more. I'm glad you liked the lyrics. The music is great, too. Here, this is the official site: http://www.matisyahu.org/ Click on "Music".. "audio".. scroll down, check the box beside "King Without.." And then hit the play arrow. Also, there's a video, if your browser supports it. Thanks for the link, I'm listening to the samples now. Really cool stuff. I have heard of Aurobindo, but never read him. Thank you, I will consider your recommendation as a (road)sign from on high. "We all have so many ideas, just like we cannot satisfy our hunger by looking at the menu, I sometimes feel we have to put down the menu of ideas that we've inherited and just remember that we're breathing...that our heart is beating...and that perhaps, just perhaps God (if there is one) made all things by becoming them." Or, for G-d's sake, order SOMEthing, ANYthing! "It is far better to be badly burnt by the devil, than to go to G-d insincerely, or stand forever at the crossroads." - Leo Tolstoy Love to You, Always, Steve IP: Logged |
