Tonight I had time to sit and think
about everything that comes and goes,
and I gotta say...wow.
We are never really taught
just what we need to know.
That...well, that we have to
teach ourselves.
And most times it makes time
seem like it's crawling,
walking past.
Then you look back and see
just how fast it went by.
You can't see the earth move
by staring at the sky
but then would you want to?
Don't take this literally,
it's mass confusion on my part.
I guess I just wanted to say
time keeps moving, going, speeding by
but here I am.
I'm always the same, still me.
Still that girl who smiled at you first.
If you ever feel the need, just ask.
I'll try to answer you as best I can.
I won't make promises,
I'll just keep smiling.
