no one to share my dreams
no one to sit with me in the leaves
and see the ducks swim down stream
and now no one that will ever believe
i sit here under the october sky
the faint sound of the church bells ring
put your lips close to mine
then my heart shall surely sing
the leaves turn gold
they fall to the ground
the leaves bring a mold
that sits all around
the wind starts to turn
the days become less
the lessons we learn
may seem like a mess
the snow begins to fall
the ground turns white
to my mother i call
its such a beautiful sight
