Once
Wondered I about those
Things ~ wherefore Imbas makes hearts to sing.
What songs unheard bring dance
To soul ~ whence Birches grow
To make us whole. Deeper
Woods answered what I wondered once. Thus deeper traveled, I would chance upon
A misted grove to trance my mind with 'ere between.
Lo, Fae dancing upon an ivy bridge.
Pray to divine that place,
That wonder, that world ~ elusive time
Sunder'd sorrowfully with walls of steel and thought;
Where I long, yearn and feel for Deeper Woods.
Let us fear not this Samhuin hour.
Bring forth the Middle Land.
Empow'r our hearts ~ to race
As though they geas possess'd;
Charm against fear of loss ~ Such we Blend
Our breaths through to Deeper
Wood.
