Meet me under the Moon
in that shadow space
that highway detours
cannot corrupt

Let the small of my back
be your only compass

the curve in your touch
our only divination

diving into that still water
spring
nervous language
never hears

I'll sing spirit
to your melancholy purge
and hold you parrallel to the
Moon~~

such an innocent orb
as
as it always was
and forever shall be
revered
from across the ravine

Darling, dare not
transcend such alchemy
with rounding aim
nor golden motivations

nor mist
with clouds of thought~

that dream you've always dreamt

I ran with lightening
on my lips
and sparks from my heels
never suspecting
it was possible to be caught~~

chained to the Moors of the Mind
Visions of Eden,
the only torture
that might otherwise not hurt.

a little boy
a little girl

how beautiful they
see themselves
in each other's smiles

Round the world
with that Emotion

Bay tomorrow
within that sigh.

thank you, Yang

Lotus,
for all the past, when I think of you, I always see you as someone honest, and it's a comfort to sense that all you say, whatever the moment, is sincere of you.
I've always sensed you are someone truly striving to understand and grow.

I sincerely do not know what should come. Day by day, I try to remain open and trust; watching, listening. I believe that time reveals what it will, naturally as it's meant to. Moment to moment will lead us there.

thank you again.

Beautiful, Lia.
I wish I had seen this sooner.

I especially liked this:

quote:
Let the small of my back
be your only compass

And the verse sue pasted.

parallel to the moon,
Stephen

Yes, indeed...

Lia is a beautiful soul and a true poet to heart.

Lia, you rock my world, lovely lady

------------------
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Silver~~

SONETO LXXVIII

I don't have a "never", I don't have an "always".
In the sand
Victory left its forgotten footprints.
I'm a poor man ready to love others who are like me.
I don't know who you are. I love you. I don't give or sell thorns.

Someone perhaps may know that I didn't weave bloody
Crowns, that I fought against mockery
And that truly I filled the high tide of my soul.
I gave doves as repayment for vileness.

I don't have a "never" because
I was, am, will be unique. And in the name
Of my changing love, I proclaim purity.

Death is only a stone of forgetting.
I love you, I kiss your mouth of happiness.
Let's bring the wood and make fire on the mountain.

~Pablo Neruda

LXXXII From: ‘Cien sonetos de amor’

My love, at the shutting of this door of night
I ask of you, love, a journey through a dark pound:

shut out your dreams: enter with your sky my eyes:

stretch out in my blood as if in a wide river.

Goodbye, goodbye, cruel clarity that was dropped

into the bag of every day of the past:

goodbye to every gleam of clocks or oranges:

welcome oh shadow, periodic friend!

In this boat, or water, or death, or new life,

one more time we unite, slumbering, resurrected:

we are the marriage of the night in the blood.

I don’t know who lives or dies, sleeps or wakes,

but it is your heart that delivers,

to my chest, the gifts of the dawn.

~Pablo again

Lia... I am speechless your post shocked me!
I just read your response.
