His soul lingers
Not far not near...
The ones he leaves
Behind
To them death is
Blind
To him he sees
The light
To them
Fright
The goosebumps crawl
Over my mortal skin
As they come for him
Past on kin....
How long will it be
Who is to say..
Before he leaves
This earthly day...
I do not know
I dare not guess
It is in his hands
To he we bless
His time here
Is yet done
Moment by moment
