I edited three words out of one of my posts, before anyone else came on the thread. That's it. And I have that right. Why should you care if I delete or edit my own negative ejaculations or not? Why should you want to make things harder for me here? What do you suppose I might learn by having my angry impulses and suicidal longings on file at Lindaland? Seriously. If there is any lesson I'm meant to learn, I think it is that I ought to delete crap like this and keep it moving on to higher ground. You think Linda, in her infinite integrity, didnt edit her books? You think she left in every type-o, every mistake, everything that issued from her lower nature? Seriously, what reason could you possibly have for being difficult here? Do you think I dont have enough bullsh!t opposition in my life right now, I need you fanatically monitoring my every post and trying to nail my every rash word to the floor? Are you sure you are not blocking the road here just for attention? And why do you feel the need to belittle my "t-shirt girls" and play the martyr card just because Melody disagreed with you?

The last time I posted to you, was to stand up for you, that was a while ago, I have not posted to you since.
Til this, NOnSense! I wish there was not an edit feature, as long as our mistakes are edited, I feel we make the same mistakes over, I do not edit my posts except for spelling, I stand by my words, and sometimes have to apologize for them, but, ah, I learn!
And I posted because you are ignoring other people posting in your forum!
MysticMelody's sestina, was ignored for days, I even wrote to her that I couldn't believe no one had posted, and there others, as moderator, you should be posting to all on your forum, not just in your strings, and your friends, no one excluded, all connected.

Fine. Good for you.
But there is an edit feature,
and a lot of people seem to think its a good idea,
including the founder and head of this website.

I believe in cleaning up my messes.
When I edit or delete something, for me,
that signifies that I have learned a lesson.

Sometimes I choose to leave something up,
even though my mind and heart has changed,
but I have my own reasons for that,
and I do what feels intuitively right to me,
moment to moment.

I am ignoring people?

first you blast me for only responding to my friends,
then you blast me for not responding to Melody -
arguably the person I am most friendly with here.

Lotus, where does it say that a moderator
is expected to respond to people's threads?
I was very clear that I wouldnt take the job
without knowing what it entailed,
and that was NOT one of the responsibilities.

I'm a moderator, but I am still me,
and I would not be a moderator if it meant
I had to pretend to be something I'm not.

I will gladly step down right this second,
if it will make you happy, Lotus.

I'm going to read what I feel like reading,
when I feel like reading it,
and respond to what i feel like responding to,
when I feel like responding to it.

If I relate more to certain people (friends),
I will naturally be drawn to comment on their thoughts and feelings.

But I have a limited amount of time and energy,
and, usually, when I feel like reading poetry,
which is not often, I'm going to read the best;
Shakespeare, Milton, Shelly, Rilke, Neruda.

No offense to you or anyone here.
