Wow! That Richter does look like a photograph! I'm surprised.

26T, I think the idea behind your piece is fantastic. The subtlety of the background is pretty impressive.

Thanks AG! This is an idea that could created in different ways again and again and I have plans to do so...

Mel, no, it's not stretched canvas. Yes, in a way, it's a mural! And I forgot to say i loved the Joni videos you posted! She is a multitalented artist you can check out her phenomenal paintings here: jonimitchell.com/painter/

You're quite welcome, T.

I forgot to mention how cool I thought it was to read that you used an old debit card as well. Makes a lot of sense.

I hear music every time I look at this piece. I can't stop it with my brainspower, either.

Funny thing, my reason for telling you to keep at it just a little more was mainly because of the top half! It seems a little off. I wonder what it would look like a little lighter. (?)

It makes me happy that you liked my response. I enjoyed writing it because I was really invoking something there.

Keep painting, !

Good night.

T,

It sounds strange but, yes, there is this faint music I hear when I see your painting. Not loud, crazy carnival music, though the sound is somewhat carnival-like in essence. It's soft, but aggressive and very solitary. It seems to be building up to something, in the way that a crescendo builds up in intensity. Does that help your curiosity?

I tend to hear music in lots of places sometimes. No, it's not coming from my i-Pod. lol. It's a bit strange, really. Your painting is loud in that sense. When I see it, it's like being out in the night. There's an atmosphere to it. It's difficult to explain it accurately, but it's something like the ocean inside a seashell, you know? It's not so much your own imagination, but the very echo of reality within a specific object.

Thank you. You mustve gotten my email. Glad it's not loud crazy carnival music.

The tune you hear is quite intruiging to me because it sounds like "me"...

You dont really need to explain (though you did a good job of it) because I get the music thing a lot too, with people and objects. The sound of night, the sound inside a seashell, echos from somewhere else, indescribable...i know.

Thanks for listening
and sounding off.
