He said to me
“ On the 89th day, they didn’t need me.
I need to look for a new one.”

My heart flew out to him and nestled in his arms
and whispered that it will be all right.

Anger within and anger without.
Madness to know that people don’t care without a doubt, anymore.
I am angry for him and angry against them-
how was he suppose to know
they were going to let him go?

I am sorry my beloved friend
but it’s not the end.
You’ll soon find what you’re looking for
and it will be different then before.
You’ll see that it’s meant to be.

Go aim higher and
polish up your dreams
as you still have your seasons
to do what you crave for.
And when you come home and somehow feel alone,
just call out my name and you’ll feel my arms embracing you.

Let it be a direction
and embrace all that you will attain en route.
