Dear Friends,
There are only a few more days before the July 1st deadline for the 2008 Barbara Mandigo Kelly Peace Poetry Awards. These annual awards, sponsored by the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, are made to encourage poets to explore and illuminate positive visions of peace and the human spirit. The awards were initiated in 1995. They are offered in three categories: Adults, Youth (13-18) and Youth (12 and under). Cash prizes are given in each category, including a $1,000 prize in the adult category. Click here for contest rules and more information. All entries must be postmarked by July 1, 2008.
