I miss my baby way too much
I can not wait to feel his touch
To get so close like no other
To share ourselves and be my lover
To taste his sweetness
To know his secrets
To reach for him deep in the night
Hold him close, squeeze him tight
To have our legs so intertwined
Until I can’t tell his from mine
To kiss his shoulder before I close my eyes
And fall asleep dreaming of blue skies
So far I have only imagined
feel him inside me and totally have him
So quickly becoming my best friend
Teaching me how to trust again
The fireworks on the 4th of July
Will pale in comparison to the sparks I hope fly
I quit believing in the “ONE”
Love and sex was just for fun
Then I met you and without a kiss
You steal my heart and now…all this
Maybe I should run so very far away
So perfect in my mind you’ll stay
The one rare precious thing I’ve found
To wrap my feeble mind around
I can’t do that, I have to know you
All my love, I have to show you
So excited to see you tonite
goodbye to fear, it just took flight
