FREEDOM
(Freed from Me)

Angel of mercy sent from heaven above
Oh, how I needed your magnificent display of love.
Tender and gentle, guiding me straight.
I was your destiny, you were my fate.
Yes, separation is so painful.
Yet I know that I should be grateful.
For I am to be sent yet another
be it as angel sister or brother.
No the world will never quite see
how divinely you were sent to me.
May we go forth a little lighter,
our rainbow auras a bit more brighter.
Surely all paths will cross again.
Although we will never know quite when.
Thank you for showing me the freedom to be
the very worst and the very best me of me.
You came in the night like the touch of a feather
joining me in flight, separate, not together.
For true angels must always fly free,
Ready and able to rescue those who see.
My days are still grounded but at night I take flight.
Funny how my vision is clear in the dark of the night.
Spirit is now speaking and the voice is crystal and loud.
Gifting me with a well of creativity, making me proud.
The good kind of proud, the proud to be the ME
He masterfully and divinely created ME to BE!

Awww, what beautiful expression of feeling, mermaid26. I could feel every nuance of the poem's winding emotions and I empathize. I've had someone in my life that touched my heart in a similar way, and it's bittersweet.
Thanks for sharing your poem!

Thanks. Yes, I'm feeling the synchronicity. It's nice to feel others riding the tide with you... and spinning with you on the great carousel, especially when the turns can make you dizzy. What a gift! {I'd riding on a Zebra.}

Another musing... and a correction to above - (I'm riding on a zebra.)

Don't Fall Off the Carousel

So I went looking for a declaration
and found the gold in an incantation.
I so needed an emotional connection
to erase my minds feared rejection.

Did you hear me crying out?
Did you hear my endless doubt?
Yes, I'm deeply wounded it' true.
Fighting, I'm black and blue.

But now I have unclenched my fists
and surrendered my soul to twists.
No it wasn't really all okay
Living by only half a day.

It's always darkest before the dawn
and it's quite tricky being a pawn.
So I'm asking God to make my move.
I've simply got nothing more to prove.

I'm his child, I'm his love.
His invisible hand extends from above.
He sends me angels, teachers, and guides
he helps me stay on the carousel's rides.

I know these dizzy spins will bring great joy.
I know that I really am quite coy.
God help me focus all of my projection
to the praise and glory of your reflection.

Beautiful.

It's plain to see your work is written with
deep experience, courage, and tenderness of heart.

Thank you for sharing these.

Thank you. Yes, finally not afraid to proclaim my ultra-sensitivity.
