A new spark of words
ignites the crispy path
Sharing similar stories
lets us reconcile the past

the flame begins to flicker
we're linked by common thread
a feeble blaze is burning
in spite of distance spread

She was alone as I was,
She felt pangs of disconnect,
We're joined from this day forward
Brilliant flames who self-reflect

Someday a day will come
where we can meet up face to face
The spark I'll see in my sister's eye
That's a moment I long to embrace
