My Garden of May

My Georgia garden
full with her May blooms
now so resplendent,
her living color
is food to my soul,
beauty transcendent.

The wild honeysuckle,
and confederate jasmine,
sweeten heavily near skies.
A deepened pink antique rose
with faces of girl graces,
herein healing perfume lies.

False indigo stands so tall
with purple geranium
royal over delicate
pale mauve fruited columbine
and heady clove scented pinks.
My senses such not forget.
