I need something better
than this nothingness and uncertainty,
this lack of connection, this resentment that bubbles and seethes in my heart.

I want to know it will all work out,
I want to know I'll feel strong again,
I want to shed some light on the gloom,
I want to feel the winds of destiny lift me high...

Take this moment in this place
and sashay across my mind,
Bring me love and honestly,
where growth comes warm and kind.

Live in me a brighter flame,
set my world ablaze,
fill me with my purpose now
as I dance above the craze.

Shadow forms of deepest fears,
you have no place in this space,
Love me for all I'll ever be,
or turn and walk away...

Or both....? Love someone, but know when it's time to walk away?

Sometimes you can do both. Walk away while still loving.
That part struck a chord with me
and that's what came to my head straight away after reading those lines. Sometimes both...yet, seperately, is best.
