Teardrops, raindropsof a poet's heart..... go unheard and unseen but for those who understand. Are we weak? Those seen weak, for sensitivity. Is there anything to teach? Is there anything to change? Teardrops, raindrop sof a poet's heart go unheard and unseen but for those who will hear. Ears of the heart, Senses of the heart, Whatever force fuels this life- connect. Feel my call, our pain. Allow the cleansing rain. Can life be warm and gentle one day? If only our hearts call could reach you, Universe...God-force- whatever you are. If only you could hear our tears, If only tears could be heard, Ringing louder, like bells If only you could hear These stinging, ringing Tears of pain. The years of torture These dimensions of suffering Man's inhumanity to man And innocent animal kin alike The dimension of suffering Caught in time Of suffering physically Where all experience becomes focussed To that single point of pain. Joy and pain this endless cycle. I long to rest..... The grass is soft and gentle Beneath my head. Life can be beautiful. And life can be kind. But life is not kind. It feeds upon itself. But maybe that's just the way it is, Was meant to be and always will be. But if thats all there is to this life... I deny it. I despise whatever made it that way. I will loathe that which allows cruelty From the depths of my very soul My anger and my passion, this dormant fuel Waits for the day, The day I have the key. IP: Logged |

Not dumb at all. If my heart were to speak it would be something like that. ------------------ If you want to know your Higher Self, look at the people you've met in the last year! ~Rudolf Steiner IP: Logged |

I said to God, “Let me love you.”And He replied, “Which part?” “All of you, all of you,” I said. “Dear,” God spoke, “you are as a mouse wanting to impregnate a tiger who is not even in heat. It is a feat way beyond your courage and strength. You would run from me if I removed my mask.” I said to God again, “Beloved I need to love you – every aspect, every pore.” And this time God said, “There is a hideous blemish on my body, though it is such an infinitesimal part of my Being – could you kiss that if it were revealed?” “I will try, Lord, I will try.” And then God said, “That blemish is all the hatred and cruelty in this world.” ~Saint Thomas Aquinas

There are other beings, other worldsOther beings, other worlds There are other beings Other worlds In our dreams, perceived In our mind, conceived In our sky, believed Other beings, Other worlds We can paint beauty Or we can pain ugly Other beings, Other worlds There are other worlds What world will we create? What dreams will we bring forth? In our dreams, perceived, In our minds, conceived In the news, foreseen Other beings, other worlds But will we understand them? Does love conquer all in the end? When will we truly know ourselves? We are lost in a world of illusion Hurled by the tide of confusion Nothing is clear I'm not sure if we need fear I need a magic looking glass To help me find the truth I am human We are lost in our humanness Limited by our finiteness Seeing through our little lenses Just our angles, perspectives Restricted..... I want to see. IP: Logged |

Your poem made me think of a poem I wrote years back, trying to get through to another poetic soul:"Distribeel" Discouraged Disheartened By a pitiless world I can't compare Or find a simile There is no cure This feeling unsure We people who care Dithering in despair Unduly believing We are alone in our grieving But then a voice rings through my head: Wake up people! Share your sorrow Spreading the pain Dilutes the rain How do you know? That no one understands? If you pretend there's nothing Wrong and keep toughing It out in your mind You deduct chance of any kind To find out there's a spirit who Has an intense feeling for you IP: Logged |
