Letting go and giving in,
I could care less what I find.
I cannot take this rejection replay,
as it places my heart in the grind.

Why do I still care at all,
why does my heart still break?
It's not my choice I'm in this world,
this past I would gladly forsake...

Stupidly I chase the breeze,
seek what shouldn't be sought,
I long for acceptance that will never come,
as I'm worn down all for naught.
