I love this. I would say more, but I have to go.

(*edited. I don't think he was serious, and he responded to my email at 10:17am, about twenty minutes after I'd emailed him. He's mentioned feelings like that himself, in the past, and I talked to him until he felt better - when he admitted them to me. I shouldn't have posted that - sorry, T. )

Teasel, I'm really sorry to hear this. Please be very wary of this guy. I think it's time to really focus on yourself right now. I don't have your home address anymore (think it was years ago, you sent me that lovely Christmas card!) would you mind sending it to me again? Pretty please? And as I told you before. You can call me or write me any time. I love you and don't like to see you in so much pain. You know that i can relate though, so I may be a good person to talk to.

About the poem. I think it's one that every woman can relate at least a little to. And I sense my Leo planets coming through in it. It's about a number of experiences I've had over the years and I figure many others have had them too.

Hope you find something to cheer up with today. Much love.

OMG t- this is perfect and gave me chills.
"you send this way
are redirected
& sent racing back to you
simply by Law
Knock yourselves over
sit with yourselves
& petty jealousies
I watch in horror
How dare you hold ill will
towards your own,
Sister."
this truth does not make me happy although it is just.
wow t.
quite amazing how you put into words the very thing I mull over so much lately.
people can send firey darts of discontent our way, and its not something i would do to someone else. it has no choice but to return to the sender. excellent stuff t. most excellent.

i can sniff you out from miles away...
it is what it is.
you get to where you can see it coming and know whether someone genuinely wishes you well, or genuinly wishes to see you falter.
i have to read this again t.
i have been remiss in reading the poetry for awhile. this was a great place to start.
no one ever wrote anything so kind, loving and generous as the second poem and i cherish it, you beautiful soul. i read it and i cry because it is so beautiful it touches my very soul. i love you.

Thank you, T. My mood perked up yesterday evening, before going out, but up until the afternoon I was feeling mostly numb, and sort of teary. I felt embarrassed about posting here - sorry about that.

I was going to look for that book in the bookstore last night - I even said to my Dad, "Oh, I forgot the name of that book that T. mentioned at LL!"

This is also a reminder of the why I kept to myself for several years - why I had some of the problems with anxiety that I had for so long. Why I avoided most people.

maybe i am a bit dense. t, this resonated with me due to our recent conversation about people who don't and do offer encouragement and support. no specific person mentioned or implicated in any way. i am kinda sad that anyone took it personal in any way, as i know that is not how you meant it. just how you can tell if people wish you well or not.

i don't understand why people are thinking it is about them when it isn't about anyone in particual or possibly about everyone in particular.

i still think it is quite beautiful and conveys so much that is beyond superficial. i treasure this.

cpn, no, not dense at all. Yes, you are correct and it wasnt directed at anyone specific and has to do with simply one theme in many people's lifetime. Poetry is a good way to release and or make sense of these types of experiences. I also didnt undertand why someone took it personally. Well, in a way I did. The person always seems to think they have a gang of enemies after them.

This poem is not about enemies. It's about experiences in human life.

& thank you.
Quinnie too!

It reminded me of being bullied in school, for no reason that I could see (outside of it, too, here and there, or being stabbed in the back) - and at least one man that my mother was involved with... one that I didn't trust on first meeting.

I didn't think it was about anyone here, either.
