All emotions have come
Together
Arm in arm
A thick, grey mud

Loud, vulgar, and coarse

Spun round
Merrily fast, faster
And faster and fast as the thoughts
That wait for the day, or hour, or minute
To pick one and settle down.

I will wait.

Right now,
You are specters
In a kaleidoscope

Shadows on clouds

And, nothing is real.

There's the black tar ocean with
its moaning whale.

There's the shaky soldier
sleeping on his gun.

The w**** runs between two trees
in her bare feet

An angry mob is churning
By the telephones.

And, your beautiful face
Lays in the grass,

The devil with the upper hand.

Id like to share a series I used to read. I liked the deathlands books because they filled me with some strange sense of awe, I never did get into the outlanders series. I honestly had two banana boxes full of these books.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deathlands
The Deathlands is a series of novels published by Gold Eagle Publishing. The first novel 'Pilgrimage to Hell' was first published in 1986. This series of novels was first written by Christopher Lowder, under the pen name 'Jack Adrian'. Mr. Lowder became ill after developing the plot and writing most of the book. Laurence James, under the pen name 'James Axler' then finished the story.

The series exists in both an episodic style and a series format. Some of the novels can be read out of order yet others are dependent on the previous release. There are also a few trilogy sets within the series.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAT-TRANS
MAT-TRANS is short for Matter-Transmitter, a teleporter used as a plot device in James Axler's Deathlands and Outlanders series.

The device is typically a six-sided room with walls, floor and ceiling made of "armaglass", a likely fictitious type of glass which is very difficult to break or shatter. Each one is usually a different color from the others. There is a single door in this room made of vanadium steel. The entire chamber is difficult to destroy or damage due to the high level of armoring of the walls and door, but accidents have been known to happen, and the characters, especially in Deathlands, express a fear of coming out of a transporter that is a mile underwater, or buried under a thousand tons of rock. They've come very close in the past.

Here is an audio book from #50 I think. A redoubt was a military installation that contained a MAT-TRANS unit in the basement usually. Also infested by mutated monsters, On another planet, In a space station, and many other places. Most books start off leaving in a mat-trans in a hurry, or coming in to one in a very bad place. Sometimes good, The sun shines on a dog's tail from time to time eh?

*WARNING* Contains mature content.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chrQwmysIaM

Book cover from that audio book,

Another cover,

Oh, The united states is a nuclear wasteland filled with mutated creatures, the bugs are sometimes described to be that big and usually dangerous to humans.

The covers were normally well done.

Did you think you were pregnant? What word got censored?

Hahaha... w h o r e

That should work.

I use profanity in poetry when it's relevant to expressing a certain tone or emotion...

Apologies if that's offensive My poetry is pure emotional expression.

And, no Randall, your conclusion for this poem (I was not worrying about pregnancy, but you're not too far off, at all).

I meant to tell you that I think some of your conclusions about things are strikingly perceptive, and wonder if that's the effect of your Pluto in 1st house... it's really, really cool what you're able to see.

Anyways, poem is open for your interpretation. Glad it's sparking at least curiosity. I need to add some meat to this one, though.

Yeah, Pluto allows me to see beneath the surface. Unfortunately, it also forces people to reveal their true selves around me, and it has ripped the masks off and revealed a few crazies on this site from time to time.

Well, I'm certainly crazy on the surface... maybe under my mask I'm sane? Just food for thought

Haha.

I love this line....."Spun round

Sounds like emotional centrifugation!

Who's driving, though?

After getting to the part where he flys on the bridge, I think it's best if there's one vehicle per... haha...

I would not be pulling any tricks through concrete blocks or under bridges, I don't think... at first...

I think this poem is fascinating. I can relate.

"And, you beautiful face
Lays in the grass,

The devil with the upper hand."

If you don't mind me asking, who/what were you referring to here?

Cancer/Scorpio, I think this part is revealing a factor of the chaos - at least, from my intended point of view.

There's a bit of symbolic reaction, symbolic characters, and the one main character that plays a role - the one with the beautiful face, laying in the grass... the one with the "upper hand".

This person is a real cause of emotional chaos.

Mblake,

That was a great comic... I don't usually like comics, but it was really smart.

I gotta find something to cheer me up today, feeling a bit low.

Maybe its just been the heat.

A trip to the steak house and perhaps go swimming this weekend would do me some good.

work work work.
