Good stuff in here:
I especially enjoyed - The Art of Love. Ars Amatoria: Ovid's guidance to aspiring lovers, in the tricky game of love.

One of his suggestions for getting over heartbreak is to drink until you pass out.
He says do that or don't drink at all... anything in the middle is bound to get you in trouble.

I wonder what the equivalent to drunk dialing back then was?
